Jocelyn Jansons is an award-winning writer, producer, and director. She was recently selected for the NBCUniversal Director’s Initiative and shadowed on Macgruber, starring Wil Forte and Kristen Wiig. Her screenplay, Because Maybe, is a winner of the George RR Martin Screenwriting Award. Inspired by her life as mother to a 17-year-old Lupus warrior, as well as her father’s history as a Latvian refugee during World War II, Jocelyn and her producing partner Laurence Dumortier are currently seeking financing for the feature film to be shot in Riga and Kurzeme in 2022-2023.
