Business Development Manager at HyperVR Games

Katrina presently serves as a Business Dev Manager at HyperVR Games, and as a Business Ops Manager at Hypercell Games, one of the Baltic top mobile game development companies. While based in London, she held an Ops and Partnerships Head position at an artificial intelligence company causaLens awarded as the Best Investment in Deeptech 2019 in the UK. Previously, she headed country operations for Snapchat Latvia and launched the office from scratch. She also served as executive manager of the largest commercial European Space Agency contract in Latvia with Eventech. Assisted 6 different stage start-ups to attract and manage multi-million dollar VC and EU funding. Enjoys coaching and supporting the teams to make the “think big” vision a reality.

Katrina graduated with a M.Sc. in Chemistry and B.A. in Business Economics from the University of Latvia with additional training by Bob Dorf in startup entrepreneurship and by Capital Enterprise in machine learning. As someone who has a genuine interest in deep-tech and startups, Katrina is supportive of the idea of sharing one’s knowledge, and she is a mentor at the Riga Tech Girls mentorship program and a jury member at tech hackathons.
