Kristine Vainovska TwidwellBoard Member Kristine Vainovska Twidwell is the Foundation Director at Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce and joined the organization in 2017. As the Foundation Director, Kristine directly oversees the day-to-day operations, works with the Board of Directors and Advisory Council, as well as manages the grantor/grantee relationships of to the KC Chamber’s civic investment vehicle – the KC Chamber Foundation. Kristine has more than five years of experience in grant writing, management, compliance, and reporting including overseeing relationships with government, private, and corporate funding partners. Most recently, Kristine successfully administered grants and oversaw Foundation’s annual budget of over $1,000,000.00. Kristine earned a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, and Associate in Arts from Metropolitan Community College. Kristine calls herself an accidental non-profit professional from Latvia who has become a steward of philanthropy in Greater Kansas City. Her experience ranges from higher education, direct service nonprofits to membership association with an eye and talent for building, streamlining and re-energizing programs, processes, and initiatives. |
