LACC November event Recap – Chicago and Latvia

During November, LACC board and Regional Directors participated in numerous events, below is a recap.

Passport to the World – International Networking Event hosted by Union League Club in Chicago, Illinois. During the event Honorary Consul of Latvia – Eric Kalnins – together with LACC board was highlighting great achievements by Latvian business men and women as well as promoting potential business opportunities between Latvia and the U.S.

Latvijas Valsts Svētku pasākums. Independence Day of Latvia gathered together 100’s of individuals from all generations to celebrate 101st birthday of our country. LACC not only to took part in the celebration by attending the event but also setting up an information table where every individual attendee was invited to come and find out more about the organization, our mission, purpose and future plans.

Colorado Chapter organized by LACC Regional Director in Denver – Janis Bergs – who is one of the success stories on how to do business between Latvia and America. Janis has started to grow and enrich the community of interested people in Denver who are seeking to develop their business contacts, be part of community, support and help each other in the long run. The next Colorado Chapter is planned to happen on 15th of January. More information will follow on our social media pages.

World Latvian Economics and Innovation Forum (WLEIF) held in Valmiera, Latvia. Two of our Regional Directors were guests speakers in the forum. Ivars Slokenbergs (NY region) and Janis Bergs (CO region). Ivars was sharing his experience and knowledge regarding the legal aspects of operating in the United State market and creating sustainable business while Janis focused on sharing his experience as SAF Technik president in North America.
