Larisa is Vice President and General Counsel at BTG Systems, the US sister company of SIA Baltic Technology Group, an outsourced software development provider out of Latvia. Larisa is an experienced corporate counsel and provides strategic legal and business advice. She also helps with operations, business development and marketing.

Larisa is also a registered US patent attorney and experienced in managing intellectual property assets and providing counseling regarding risk assessment, licensing, and freedom to operate. Prior to joining BTG, Larisa was general and intellectual property counsel to start-up biotech and pharmaceutical companies in the Chicago area and she also practiced intellectual property law in law firms in both Chicago and Los Angeles.

Larisa also serves on the Board of the Association of Corporate Counsel, Austin Chapter.

Larisa received a J.D. from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois, and a B.S. in Biology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
