Sergei SerpuhovChairman of the Board, Producer at Baltic Pine Films Sergei Serpuhov is a well-established producer from Latvia who entered the film industry over 20 years ago at the very junior level and worked his way up while living in the UK. Sergei has gained hands-on experience while working on commercials, music videos, documentaries, TV shows, live broadcasts, TV series and feature films. After returning to native Latvia in the early 2000 Sergei was among the very first producers who put Latvia on the map for foreign productions looking for new cost-effective places to shoot. In 2008 Sergei started Baltic Pine Films. Sergei is a graduate of EAVE – highly acclaimed film producers training program and an active member of Latvian producers and service producers associations. Baltic Pine Films was established in 2008 as a production and service company. Credits include Wallander III with BBC, Justice League with WB, Blinded TV series for SVT, L’Immortale feature film and Gomorra 5 TV series for SKY among many others. International co-productions include multiple award-winning feature film “In the Crosswinds” and an archive documentary My Unknown Soldier produced with the support from Eurimages. Company’s own production slate includes several feature film and TV series projects at different stages. Kids and family adventure film titled Tiger Martindale’s Survival Experts developed with the support from Creative Europe MEDIA fund received a prestigious Eurimages Co-Production Development award in 2020 and is currently in financing. |
