How to Vote in the 15th Saeima Elections Outside Latvia (USA)

On Saturday, October 3, 2026, the 15th Latvian Parliamentary (Saeima) Elections will take place in Latvia and abroad.

The Latvian American Chamber of Commerce encourages all members, partners, and Latvians living in the United States to exercise their civic duty and shape the future of Latvia!

Key Information:

• Voting Hours: Saturday, October 3, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (local time).

• Eligibility: All Latvian citizens aged 18 and older on election day.

• Required Documents: Valid Latvian citizen passport or eID card.

• Electoral District: All votes cast outside Latvia are assigned to the Riga electoral district.

Voting Options in the US:

• In Person: 16 polling stations will be open across the United States. Find your nearest polling station via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or Central Election Commission map.

• By Mail: If you cannot attend in person, register for postal voting by September 25 via Latvija.gov.lv (section "Vēlētāja datu pārvaldība").
