Latvian American Chamber of Commerce (LACC) Program & Community Manager

The Latvian American Chamber of Commerce (LACC) is seeking a Program & Community Manager to support LACC’s core mission of advancing its members’ business interests and strengthening Latvia–U.S. business engagement. We are a growing organization seeking a candidate who is organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of projects and moving them forward independently.


The position reports to the Executive Director and works closely with volunteer leaders and partners including LIAA, AmCham Latvia, ALA, The Red Jackets and others.

Time Commitment & Compensation

  • Full-time role
  • Flexibility for evening coordination with U.S. time zones
  • Compensation: approximately €2,000–2,600/month gross
  • Location: remote, with frequent Riga-based activities
  • Travel: occasional travel, including internationally

Core Responsibilities


1. Latvia–U.S. Business Report (Primary Responsibility) – Coordinate the second edition of LACC’s Latvia–U.S. Business Report, improving structure, data quality, and participation.
Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the overall production timeline and serve as the primary coordination point for the Report
  • Improve data structure and continuity from Year One
  • Conduct outreach to companies, contributors, and partners
  • Coordinate content submissions, follow-ups, and data validation
  • Work with AmCham Latvia on a section highlighting U.S. companies operating in Latvia

2. Events & Programming – Support LACC initiatives and events in Latvia.
Responsibilities include:

  • Organize 3–4 in-person networking or partner events annually for the Riga LACC chapter
  • Support LACC virtual events and programming
  • Organize the annual November LACC event, celebrating the release of the Latvia–U.S. Business Report and recognition of award recipients

3. Community & Member Engagement – Support development of LACC’s member community.
Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain relationships with existing members
  • Support new member outreach and development
  • Assist with member benefits, communications, and engagement
  • Serve as a coordination point for LACC members in Latvia

4. Program Support & Administrative Coordination – Support LACC’s collaboration with the Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA) and provide operational coordination across LACC programs.
Responsibilities may include:

  • Attending meetings, investor visits, and ecosystem events and providing brief updates to the Executive Director
  • Supporting business outreach aligned with project KPIs
  • Attending LACC Board and Regional Director (RD) meetings as appropriate
  • Supporting RD outreach and KPI tracking
  • Maintaining member records in LACC’s CRM
  • Assisting with member communications and internal coordination

Ideal Candidate

  • Independent and proactive
  • Comfortable working in a small organization
  • Very good English (written and spoken)
  • Experience in program coordination, research, business organizations, or community initiatives
  • Highly organized with strong communication skills
  • Comfortable conducting basic research and coordinating written inputs
  • Interest in Latvia–U.S. economic cooperation and business development
  • Reliable and self-directed
  • Based in Latvia (Riga preferred)
