Mikus Kins

Mr. Kins is a capital markets veteran who has over 18 years of experience in both domestic and international financial markets working closely with alternative fund managers, banks, developers, institutional and high net worth investors.

Mr. Kins now applies his capital markets experience to business and real estate investment advisory and consulting services. He is the Managing Partner of Monauda Capital, LLC and is the Managing Director at Be Commercial Realty. Mr. Kins is a licensed real estate broker and a registered business broker in the State of Illinois.

Previously, Mr. Kins held senior management positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, LaSalle Bank and ABN-AMRO. While based in London, Mr. Kins served as Director of Bank of America Trustees Ltd. and led the Global Securities Solutions Division of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, servicing a wide range of securitized products such as CLOs, CDOs, Commercial/Residential Mortgage Backed Securities and over $60 billion in Total Return Swap (TRS) portfolios.

Mr. Kins graduated with a dual BA in International Relations and European History from Brown University. Mr. Kins also received an MBA in Finance and Investment Management with minors in Real Estate and International Business from The Ohio State University where he was named to several honor societies and received the Faculty Award as the top graduating student in the Finance program. Mr. Kins studied abroad in 1994 at The University of Latvia in Riga, Latvia. Mr. Kins lives in the Bucktown neighborhood of Chicago and has dual U.S. and E.U. citizenship.
