To effectively launch the significant gathering of Spotlight Latvia 2025, the night before the main conference, we hosted a warm and engaging social event designed to kick-start high-impact networking and collaboration among attendees (including various Latvian government representatives). This special evening was graciously hosted at the Latvian Cultural Center and featured a delightful, short performance by a local Washington D.C. Latvian choir (Sudrabavots), creating an intimate cultural connection. Attendees enjoyed light refreshments, an opportunity to visit the Latvian Museum, and successfully utilized this relaxed setting to meet and mingle, establishing key connections right at the start. This welcoming social opportunity truly set a positive and energetic tone for the main event to follow.
