2025 marked a pivotal year for the Latvian American Chamber of Commerce. From launching new initiatives and expanding our regional presence, to convening leaders across business, government, and innovation ecosystems, LACC continued to strengthen economic ties between Latvia and the United States while supporting our members at every stage of growth.
What we are most proud of:
Diplomacy & Strategic Participation
LACC continued advocacy efforts regarding Latvia’s 2018 tax system changes affecting individual investors abroad. Together with AmCham Latvia, The Red Jackets, the U.S. Embassy, and Latvian government stakeholders we were able to address double taxation concerns that impact investment decisions.
Following the 2025 Baltic Advocacy Days, LACC participated in the Embassy of Latvia’s annual Honorary Consulate meeting.
Assisted with Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Minister Baiba Braže’s visit to the Aspen Security Forum 2025 in Colorado.
Hosted by PBLA, World Latvian Economics & Innovations Forum was a key partner event bringing together global business and political leaders, including President Edgars Rinkēvičs, Prime Minister Evika Siliņa, and senior ministers. LACC members and leaders were an integral part of the event – participating, moderating, and engaging in exclusive receptions and curated business meetings.

Created Latvia-USA Business Report and Inaugural Awards
This significant new initiative that fundamentally strengthens the economic ties between our two nations: the launch of the inaugural Latvia-USA Business Report! This publication represents a groundbreaking effort to comprehensively compile and share information about all Latvian businesses currently operating in the U.S. market, providing unprecedented clarity on our community’s footprint. Previously, this vital information lacked formal organization and centralized tracking, but LACC has now unified this data into a powerful, living document that illuminates the scale and diversity of Latvian economic success in America.
Part of the report were the inaugural US-Latvia Business Report Awards 2025

A special thank-you goes to the project sponsors — Spīgulis & Kukainis and SILMOR, as well as to the entire team, The Red Jackets, and Kristīne Smilga for their contributions.

Thank you to Vicki Landers and AmCham Latvia’s EmpowerHER initiative for helping us foster these opportunities.

Thank You
None of this would be possible without our members, partners, regional directors, volunteers, and collaborators across Latvia and the United States. Thank you for continuing to build a stronger, more connected transatlantic business community with us.
Here’s to an even more ambitious 2026.
